Professional
Human Resource Management Program
SSI President, Jim McHale, is frequently asked to provide this nationally
recognized professional development certificate program under the auspices
of Villanova University and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
This 13-week program can be delivered on-site and customized to an organization's
needs.
Conflict
Management Program
The denial of conflict or the avoidance of good conflict management is common
in organizations. Strategic Source, Inc.'s Conflict Management Program is
customized to meet your needs and interests.
Ongoing work on real conflict cases takes place between sessions with individual
coaching by SSI staff.
Collaborative
Manager/Supervisor Development Program
This program is a customized, highly interactive training experience in which
the program format and content are adjusted to the relevant population in
attendance such as those working as managers of supervisors versus those working
as supervisors of individual contributors.
A typical program includes two sessions of two days each; sessions are separated
by a one-month interim during which supervisors execute their development
plan and practice new skills.
Project
Management Effectiveness Program
This program is critical in a changing world where project management has
replaced routine administrative management as the primary activity. SSI's
training assists in all aspects of project management including helping clients
link projects to strategic planning, develop life cycles, build project teams,
clarify roles and teach tools and techniques. This program is designed to
teach new or aspiring project managers how to handle small to medium projects
successfully. During each session, participants learn about the work of a
particular division of a project and the skills necessary to complete it successfully.
Many skills are used throughout a project.
Empowering
with Accountability
The concept of helping a person become empowered is often difficult to comprehend.
SSI's workshop guides managers and supervisors of any function through a learning
experience about the critical nature of connecting feedback and accountability
to the process of empowerment. We work with our clients to customize this
workshop around several topics that can help create an environment that encourages
empowerment.
Strategic
Decision-making Workshop
This 2-day workshop is intended for those who have initiated a strategy but
are in need of additional assistance in choosing the appropriate growth strategy
for their organization. After a basic review of the current status and use
of the planning process, the emphasis is on evaluating growth options against
selected reality factors including their company's own corporate personality.
A systematic decision-making process and validating templates are provided.
