Emotional Intelligence can matter more than IQ. We all know people we would
characterize as "smart" or even "brilliant" who are not
successful in their work. In fact, almost everyone in management is in the top
10% of IQ. Within this group, it is Emotional Intelligence that differentiates
those who will be successful from those who will not be successful.
Research indicates that individuals who have attained the level of president
in their corporations have:

- 2 times the self confidence
- 7 times the self control
- 2.5 times the teamwork
- 2 times the achievement orientation
when compared to individuals at lower levels in the organization.
