Joycellen Young Auritt, Ph.D., Senior Consultant

Joycellen (Jey) Auritt is a senior consultant with Strategic Source, Inc. applying her expertise in human behavior to a variety of issues in the workplace. Jey specializes in the areas of executive coaching, leadership development, career management, organizational behavior and needs assessment.

Jey is a licensed psychologist with over 25 years of experience in the health care and educational fields. Additional consulting experience includes work in the pharmaceutical, financial and educational industries, as well as professional service firms.

Jey has broad familiarity with assessment techniques and has recently published a paper: Trying To Change Spots or Stripes Doesn't Work. Copies are available by request via our web site "Contact Us". She has a particular interest in the combination of 360-degree instrumentation and motivational assessment in the development of leaders. Among other instruments, Jey is certified in Emotional Competency Inventory® (ECI®), a 360-degree measure of Emotional Intelligence; Benchmarks®, a 360-degree instrument developed by the Center for Creative Leadership; Myers-Briggs Type Indicator®(MBTI®); and the System for Identifying Motivated Abilities® (SIMA®).

Jey has maintained a private practice in Psychology for over 20 years focusing on work with corporate executives regarding professional performance and career/family/self issues. Simultaneously, she was a Staff Psychologist for 17 years at the Bryn Mawr Hospital. Dr. Auritt has taught undergraduate and graduate courses at a number of local institutions of higher learning including Penn State University, Arcadia University (formerly Beaver College) and Temple University.

Jey received her Ph.D. in Psychology from Temple University in 1976 with a concentration on a life-span approach to human development.

Jey is very successful in helping management teams define complex human relationship issues and reach collaborative solutions.
